This long, slender board aims to aid with presentation when serving delicate dishes. The black creates beautiful contrasts when placed against a crisp, white cloth, or when there are light elements to a dish, such as foams or opened oysters. A coating of varnish makes these slate boards food safe and resistant to oil and water.
